- Riddles are very useful for a lot of things. :- They teach us to be quick and lively and also riddles make people think.
Long ago before gramaphone and wireless sets were invented, the people used to go from house to house and sit around the fire chatting and when they wanted to arouse them-selves they started giving riddles to each other. You can't answers riddles unless you think and thinking educates you.
Here is a list of riddles:-
Quest "Why is a hen going across the road like a conspiracy"?
Ans Beacause its a foul proceeding".
Quest "What would you put in a barrel to make it light"?
Ans "Holes"
Quest "What is put on the table cut and never eaten."
Ans "Playing cards".
Quest "What is the shiest thing in the world"?
Ans "The clock because it has always its hands on its face".
Quest "Why does a woman look up to the moon"?
