  1. There are two kinds of birds found in this district namely game and song-birds. The game consist of pheasants, partridges, snipe and wild-ducks. There are a lot of snipe and wild-ducks abode near Bective. Pheasant and partridges are not very plentiful. The song-birds are robins, thrushes, blackbirds and gold-finches. The robins and thrushes are plentiful and beautiful songsters. The gold-finches are very pretty and are often put in cages.
