  1. Once upon a time there live in the County of Limerick a rich land-owner. It was prophesied that his eldest son should be drowned, The father and mother became anxious and they decided to build a house up in a hill far away from all water. There were some men working at the building of the new house. They had a tub of water to mix the mortar, and the son who was a child at the time came up the hill and fell into the the tub of water got drowned.
    Al the men stopped work at once. The house was left there without being finished. It is said that a light appears in the half finished house at night and a voice is heard.
