“Near the village of Kilbehenny was a man dying so his brother went on horse back for the priest.”
Near the village of Kilbehenny was a man dying so his brother went on horse back for the priest. When he was passing the church a man came towards him and he dressed in white and a black hat. The man's horse got a fright and so did himself but he went on. When he came up to the white man he caught him and pulled him off the horse but he never said a word. The horse stood up quietly. He then went away from him so the man went up on his horse again. He went on again, and near the priest's he saw this white man again who followed him in near the priest's door. The man roared for the priest he came out and went with the man to the house and he could not see nor hear anything. It was said that it was the son of the dying man who was buried a year before that.- Bailitheoir
