  1. St Cecilia's Well is situated at the northern side of Morlogue Wood, about a mile from the East Ferry.
It was said at one time, that remarkable cures of a nervous complaint, called "ague" probably now known as "St. Vitus's Dance" were affected.
There is nothing to show in the vicinity of the well, that rounds were ever given there, but the old people now long gone, used to say that rags and strings were at one time to be seen attached to the bushes around the well. The well is uncovered, and a plentiful supply of water is good and fit for household purposes. It is also a very refreshing as a drink in Summer time.
St. Cecilia's Well had a reputation of holding the water in very dry Summers, when all springs in the neighbourhood dried up.
Tras-scríofa ag duine dár meitheal tras-scríbhneoirí deonacha.
