  1. Hauling home is still observed. When the couple are married, the husband stays with the wife in her own home for a week or two. He goes to his own farm to do his work. Then they appoint a night for hauling home. They invited a few friends and they also invited the Bride's Maid and the Best Man. On that night they pulled the Bride to her future home.
