- There are a number of roads in my district. The most well known are as follows
1. The old Kerry road,
2. The Brandy road,
3. Gallock's road,The old Kerry road,
w as the main road from Cork to Tralee. It was made about one hundred and fifty years ago. People used to drive pigs from Kerry to Cork. There were a few stage houses on that road. One of these stage houses was situated near Mr John Kelleher of Annaganihy. There were two fields near that house, namely, Páirc na Muc and Páirc na gCarréiridhte. People put pigs into Páirc na muc while they were [?] at the stage house. Páirc na gCarréiridhte which was near Páirc na muc the people put their horses in to that field while(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
