Ar an leathanach seo

  1. A girl named Miss Flanagan who lived in Drumdoe was drowned in Lough Arrow. One day in the 1886 Miss Flanagan went out fishing. The day being very hot she sat on one side of her fishing boat putting her feet into the water to cool them.
    Suddenly the boat capsized and she was drowned. After she was found she was buried in the Corrigeenroe church yard.
    Two brothers of the name Gara. These men were out on a windy day when the boat was upturned. A man named James Breheny who lived in Corrigeenroe and worked for Mr. Flanagan. He went out on Lough Arrow for a swim and when out to far to rescue himself he got into difficulties and was drowned. He was found on the next day.
