Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Miss Frances Woulfe Flanagan who lived in Lecarrow Lodge along with her brother who is Mr Stephen Woulfe Flanagan was very fond of fishing.
    She went on Lough Arrow Lake in a fishing boat and the day being very warm she took off her shoes while she was in the boat and sat on the side of the boat.
    The boat capsized and she was capsized along with it and was drowned without anybody seeing her.
    She was got three days later and was buried in Corrigeenroe Chapel grounds.
    James Brehony was drowned in the same lake. He was going for a swim and got into difficulties and was drowned without anyone coming to the rescue.
    There were to brothers drowned in Lough Arrow while rowing a boat.
