The Carroll and Burke children are enthusiast already and many a game is played in Major Hamilton's grounds.
B; It is quite a common thing for groups of men and boys to go hunting with guns,dogs, ferrets,Sunday after Sunday. A lot of snaring and trapping is done too.
C; Fishing is also a great pastime here especially when there is a "Fresh" down. At such a time men use fishing rods but the "Boys" with nothing better throw a stick, piece fasting pin and maggot bring home often twice as many trout.
