    The goats are called by the word "kiddy" and the pig by "hursh". The hens by "cluckey", or whistling or clipping your hands for them. The ducks are called by "wheat." When driving geese you say "hiss a leg". Geese were wild but it was found that they were easily tamed and that they could be of great value on the market. Not only was their flesh counted good but their fine soft feathers were much in demand, while their quills at one time supplied all Europe with pens. For all these began to rear them as domestic birds.
