One night he was coming along the road there came a funeral out of a lane, and he helped to carry the coffin until his own lane and he said he would take the last lift out of it before he would leave. So before long he found, the coffin was left with him. Every one disappeared. He went up and told his father. His father told him he would not quit until something would happen him. His father got up and they went down and brought up the coffin and laid it by the fire.
They lifted the lid of the coffin and there was a lovely lady breathing inside. They lifted her out and brought her to bed and heated her milk. Every day after that she mended. Then she got up and cleaned the house and made them their meat. The father said to his son one day that he should marry this girl. So they got married.
The son was a horse dealer and he was thinking about going to a far-away fair. He mentioned this fair. His wife said "That is my native town, and will you let me go." Yes. They got ready and arrived(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
