Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)people used to but the material in the shops & then get it made from the tailor but now one of them stocks it himself. They made suits & all sorts for the men & some of the women get them to make costumes etc for them. There is also a tailoress in my parish & she makes some of the women & girls clothes. She is Miss Duffy Rathmullen Ballymote. Some women of my parish also get sewing machines & make all their own clothes. When anybody belonging to a person dies they usually sew on a black piece of crape on their right arm. There are two spinning wheels in my district yet but they are all gone now. These people some of them spin yet.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
