  1. In earlier days all men were hunters. They chased the wild animals of the forest & slew them. They ate the flesh of the animals and wore their skins for clothing. Man requires not only flesh food but plant food as well. In the old, old days they found this plant food growing wild in the forest a later period they chanced upon the most useful plant ever known to man we call the plant wheat. The grains of wheat were very good to eat. Men liked the taste of flour within the husk and felt themselves well and strong after eating it. They also found that if one of the grains of wheat were put into moist ground a plant would grow out bearing many grains. With the revolution of time there are many different changes
