- At the time Our Lord & his Blessed mother were fleeing the country to avoid King Herod's wrath they came upon a flock of goats & asked to give them shelter for the night but they refused so they had to continue their journey in the bleak night. After journeying a certain time they came upon a flock of sheep & they made a similar appeal to them & they were delighted to accede to their request as a token of their gratitude. At that time the sheep were covered with hair & the goats wool and it was changed the wool on the sheep & hair on the goat. Still farther on their journey they met with a clock and a wasp on their way warning them not to make known to their pursuers that they saw(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
