  1. My Home district is situated in the town land of Carrownaskeagh, in the parish of Killoran, and in the Barony of Leyney.
    There are four families and sixteen people in my townland.
    Gallagher is the family name most common in the town land.
    There are three slated one storey houses and one thatched one storey house in it.
    Two of these houses have been built by the Congested District Board while the other house belonged to an old land lord named Dodwell who lived there.
    There is only one old person over seventy in the town land she knows no Irish nor tells stories in Irish
