    The peddlers are not going about now as they were long ago. They made their living by selling shoes and clothes and other things such as: crucifixes, brooches, and medals. Now the tinkers go round selling flowers and sausepans. They fix pots and pans in the houses.
    The gypsies go round fortune-telling and selling what-nots and wicker-work. Long ago they slept under carts or along a fence. Now they have very respectable vans and of different coloures. Men and women go about
