    In the little town of Moville in Co Donegal, there once lived a man who was forbidden to cut a tree in the centre of his field, as it was said that the fairies had their abode there. But the man did not listen to anyone and he cut down the tree. The following moring, when the man awoke, his hair was on the pillow as it had all fallen out of his head. That was his punishment for not listening to his neighbours.
