    as his own. He caught the horse and put the bridle on him and was about to jump up on him when the horse ran into the lake and brought the man out half way in the water and only for he was a good swimmer he would be drowned. The man went home and told his story to his people and they told him it was a water horse. The next day he went looking for his horse and he got him grazing on a mountain. Every night the people can see the water horse in the lake. I heard this story from Richard Duffy Bank of Ireland Westport.
