  1. There is a fort in Roigh in Peter Sheridan's land. The old peope say that there was a pot of gold hidden by the fairies there.
    About one hundred years ago a man named Thomas Joyce came to search for the gold. He went down the steps into the fort. The fort was divided into a number of cellars and he searched all the cellars but could not find the pot of gold. He almost went astray coming out of the fort.
    He went down into the fort on a second occasion but this time he tied a rope round his waist and another man held the end of the rope at the entrance of the fort so that he would
