    "Land Lords"
The land-lords long ago were Lord Inchiquin of Dromoland ,Mr Creagh of Carrahan ,Mr hewitt of Granahan and Mr Joint of Garnelly.
At that time if the disobeyed their land-lords they would be evicted. The land-lords used to raise the rent very often and the tenants had to pay it or leave the house.
Lord Inchiquin was a good land-lord .he never interfered with tenants.Lady Fitzgerald was very good to her tenants also.
