"The Patron St of the Locality"
St Finghin is the patron saint of Quin- parish. He was also Abbot of Roscrea. In the year 1005, St Finghin died. The patron saint's feast day falls on the 5th of February. St Finghin's church is situated on the right bank of the river, and is situated on the right bank of the river Rhine, and is centuries older than the old Franciscan Monastory on the left bank. The ruins are standing still.
There is a holy well called after St. Finghin in the fork of an oak tree.
