  1. Formerly there were two fairs held in Quin one on the 7th of July and the second one on the first of November. Of late years they established two new fairs which are not very sucussful. The November fair is also noted for horse and pony foals.
    The buyers go around before the fair from house to house buying cattle, because they can see them better in the field than in the fair.
