"Farm Animals"It was a custom in days gone by for people to take the milk and butter of each other's cows.
It happened one time that a certain priest kept three cows.It was noticed that the cows' milk would not produce butter.May night he sent out his servant boy and gave him a gun to watch and see if any harm was being done to the cows.
About twelve o'clock a hare came and sucked each cow from the left side for about three minutes.When the hair was returning to his den the boy fired a shot and struck him but did not injure him.The same thing happened on the second night .(continues on next page)
