  2. About fifty years ago there lived in Stragella, a man called Gaffney, who used to make cobble boots. His residence was at the back of the house of Mr. Patrick Mchuh, but there are no remains of it now.
    About the same time there lived in the same district a man called Frank Smith, who made wooden soled clogs. This is the only man who ever made clogs locally.
