    Baile an Chumhair; This townland derives its name from the three rivers which meet about one mile and a half distance from the townland, The Tap, Brosna, and the Silver

    4) Carraigh a Chaith
    derives its name from a large rock that is yet to be seen, and once the cats from the surrounding places gathered together and had a fight that lasted nine days.
    5) Tigh na Muc
    Pig sty, could also mean Teine Mhúchta - quenched fire
    6) Rashina, Ráth Sionnaigh
    7) Leacabeg means Leaca Beag.
    8) Leacamore means Leaca Mór. These two places are both rocky places
