  2. Local Forge
    The forge that we go to to get our horses shod is in Balcarrig and the smith's name is Matt Dempsey and he is a good blacksmith and shoes a lot of horses and asses, and he mends binders and mowing machines and other machines as well.
    The forge is on the side of the road.
