    that he would go a long way away and hide the six which he had made that day. He hid them in a field about a mile from the place where he had made them. He went home for his supper and he came back again about twelve o'clock a light appeared in the place where the baskets were hidden
    Jimmy Hendrick was surprized and after a while he saw fairies and he heard beautiful music. He got back his courage when he heard the music. It was a ratheen but the man did not know. He was dragged into the ratheen by the fairies and kept there all night. His brother went to look for him in the morning.

    In the mountains of Clonegall there is a certain place called the Devils Table. It is a flattened out sort of a place as if someone levelled out a piece of ground. Somepeople say it was the Devil himself levelled it out to play a game of cards with a highway man that lived in a cave in the mountain. This man used to come sometimes on a winter's evening
