- One night six boys from Lettergonnel were going to a dance in Jim Cunninghams.
On going across Gaigue hill they saw a little man before them. They hurried to catch up with him but he still kept the same distance before them and they were unable to catch up with him.
When they thought they ought to be at Cunninghams they saw a light and on going to it they entered the mill of John Flynn Creelaughta where the kiln-man was up drying oats. It was then four o'clock in the morning. So they decided they would go back to the dance. But the boys never got there, the next place they arrived was at Gunshinans Lettergullion. They called them there and two of the boys who were at the dance and gone to bed got up and left them across Gaigue Hill. It was then near seven o'clock in the morning.- Collector
