  1. Under the stones on Gaigue Hill there is supposed to be a crock of gold.
Two boys in the neighbourhood who slept together dreamt that if they looked for it they would find it. They dreamt of it three nights in succession and they determined to go and look for it. So one night they went with spades, loys, and shovels They dug on until they came to a round flag stone which they had dreamt of and under it was the crock of gold - it was supposed. The instant their spades touched the flag, sparks flew up from it and they remembered no more. When they regained consciousness they rushed home. Next day the hole was filled and the quest was never resumed since.
