- In olden times people had very different ways of living even as regards food. People ate only three meals per day the food consisting of oaten bread and porridge and milk.
For dinners the people would all sit round a large pot of boiled potatoes and each would receive from the woman of the house a large wooden mug of butter milk(continues on next page) - Collector
