    farmer sprays the stalks of the potatoes twice with blue stone and washing soda mixed together. He sprays them to keep the blight of them.
    In Autumn he digs the potatoes with the spade and some one picks them. They put the little potatoes in a place for themselves Some people put them into pits and more of them puts them on lofts.
    The champion potatoes are the principal potatoes that the farmers plants.
    Potatoes are sometimes used for starch. When the potatoes are grated the water that comes out of them is used for starch.
