  1. Some years ago two men lived in Killulagh went to a wake in Graftonstown. One of the men forgot his pipe and had to go home for it. As he was crossing a field he saw a crowd of men kicking football. The man watched them for a while and it happened that the ball came near him and he gave it a kick and one of the men said "well done Tom". When the man looked around, he found himself beyond Killucan instead of being in Graftonstwon.
