- There is a man now living in Trim. The man can make baskets. He brings home a load of willows and burns the skin off them. When the willow skins are burned off the willows will turn in many ways without breaking. The man shapes the willows into baskets and sells them. This man is able to make several baskets in the day. His name is John Dempsey. When he has a good supply of baskets made he comes with a donkey and cart selling the baskets.(continues on next page)
