  1. We have a churn at home.
    It is two feet six inches tall and five feet two inches wide at the bottom.
    it is five feet two inches wide at the top.
    The sides of the churn are round and are narrower at the top than bottom.
    The churn is about nineteen years old.
    There is no mark on the side or bottom of the Churn.
    Butter is made twice a week in the summer and the same in winter.
    Strangers do not help with the churning.
    The churn is moved upwards and downwards.
    We know by looking at the milk that it is done.
    Hot water is put in when it is hard to churn.
    When the churning is done the butter is put on a butter is put on a butter dish and the milk is washed out by cold water.
    There are no stories about churning or butter making that I know.
    Buttermilk is used for making bread and for giving to the pigs.
