  1. Here is a list of domestic and farm animals:-
    Horses, Cows, Cattle, Pigs, Sows, Calves, Cats,
    The cows have names.
    Here are the names, Peggie, Fanny, Daisy and Nellie.
    This is what we say when driving the cows
    "Hew, hew, hew."
    The cowhouse is made of stone and it is a one storey building.
    It has a cemented floor and there are mangers in it.
    It is whitewashed inside and outside.
    It is called the byre.
    There is a chain hanging from the manger and the cows are tied to stakes.
    Cows are tied by the necks when they are going to be milked.
    The tyings are made of iorn chains.
    They are not made at home but are bought.
    there are no local names of tyings.
    Here is a custom concerning milking, if we want the cow to stray quiet, to sing a gentle song.
    He is a custom about horses.
    When selling a horse a person should not be bringing a horse from fair to fair but sell it at the first fair if we could get a middling price for it.
