    finish his prayers, he was looking into the well and he saw the white trout. Then he knew he would be cured and he left his crutches at the well and walked home.
    There was a man living in Spanish Point named Moroney locally known as "blind Frank." How he came to be blind is a miracle worthy of note. He had a servant girl and she had sore eyes. She used to go to the blessed well every day to perform rounds. One day he told her to bring him a bottle of the water to rub it to a horse's eye that was sore. It was done and the horse was cured the next day but he himself was blind.
