    There was a great painter in Kilfenora long ago in the place called Ballykerin.

    There was a great painted in Kilfenora long ago in the place called Ballyherin. He painted many pictures and one of them is still to be seen. It is worth a hundred and fifty pounds. The name of the painter was Fitzjerald. Alot of people used to come to see it, Some people tried to buy it but it wouldnt be sold. A man named Cuesack used to make baskets., Every week he used to go to the crag and cut scallops., Then he would come home and make baskets out of them,
