Once when a rich lord was sitting on his favourite chair...

Once when a rich lord was sitting on his favourite chair outside his mansion on a summer eve an old woman came up to him and asked for a drink of water. He refused to give it to her and she said, "some day you will get sick and you will have no drink to refresh yourself then you will die. Some weeks later the rich lord got sick and he sent one of his servantsdown to the cellars for wine. When he returned he said that the barrels were dry. The sick lord sent for some water but the servant could not get any. He got up himself and went to the river Suir to get water himself. But when he stooped down the water rushed over to the other side. He followed it over but it curled in around him and he was drowned.
