    whatever cure the man gave, it should be used.
    Sore throat was cured by roasting a potato and putting it to the throat applying the poultice several times.
    For Rheumatism an herb that grows in the fields and ditches called yarra the roots of this herb was boiled strained and bottles and was used for dring three times a day. It was supposed to be an excellent cure for Rheumatism
