  1. There was a tailor once working in a farmer's house in the townland of Doonasleen. About midday he walked out in the yard for a breath of fresh air. He heard a number of voices repeating "Hie over to Lord John Russels place give me a horse.
    He repeated the words after them and immediately found himself on the back of a horse riding across the country. After moving rapidly for some time with many others he found himself in a gentleman's place. Some time later
