  1. On our farm there is a mass stone where mass was said in the Penal Times. This stone is near a cross-roads called Cros - an Aifrinn which means the mass cross There is a hole on top of this stone with a marble in it that cannot be moved. In the field where the mass-stone is there is a quarry. It is said the mass was often said in this quarry. At Goggin's Hill there is a priest's leap. The horse jumped across and the priest fell off. The print of the priest's hands and knees can still be seen on this rock.
