- A boy from the Rower was was sent to New Ross with a fish one time. The fisherman weighed the fish before they sent it. On the way he stuffed the fish with sand. When the buyer weighed the salmon it was three pounds heavier. He kept the price of the three pounds with whatever the fisherman gave him.
