    It is lucky to start buisness on a friday.
    It is unlucky to start digging a grave on a Monday and it must be started on a Sunday, and if not the same people will be digging graves all the week.
    On St. Martins day no mills should be working, and some blood should be sprinkled on the ground even it if was only the blood of a chicken.
    It is the custom of the people to put blessed palm in each of the out-houses of the farm.
    On May Eve holy water is put on all the stock.
    To prevent wire worms from cutting the corn, water is blessed by a priest and put
