  1. Traslue is a swelling in the hoof. An old cure is to cut a three cornered sod and turn it. While the sod is withering the traslue is curing.
    Another is to get hot lime and burned straw and put them in a stocking and then put the stocking to the hoof and while the stocking is rotting the traslue is curing.
    Red Murrain
    Red murrain is curred by an herb called the Crane's Bill.
    Ring Worm
    Ring Worm. Boil a pint of milk and alum and the milk with turn into curds and whey. Then make a poulice of it and put it on the affected part.
    Plaintain is a cure for a cut.
