  1. On the left hand side of the river Suir a dead body was washed ashore. Some fishermen found it and they reported their find to the police. The body was put in a coffin and a guard was put on watch. In the morning another guard was put in his place. Heavy rain began to fall and the guard seeking shelter took the body out of the coffin and got in himself and went asleep. Just as the other guard was coming on duty again he awoke and stood up. The oncoming guard seeing this thought it was the dead man and he ran away as fast as he could and nearly died of the fright.
