    Once upon a time there lived a man in this country called Pat Smyth and he had three sons.

    Once upon a time there lived a man in this country called Pat Smyth and he had three sons. He sent his eldest son out to bring the black horse in for the night, when he caught the horse, he saw a black man who asked him to play a game of cards.
    He ran home and told his father. He then sent his second son but when he reached the field he saw the black man and he also asked him to play a a game of cards but refused and ran home as fast as he could and also told his father.
