- (continued from previous page)there was a heavy snowfall it fell for two days and nights a lot of sheep were lost and then the birds died with hunger and cold.
- There was a great snowstorm in the year of nineteen hundred and thirty five. The snow was eight or nine feet deep. There was a lot of sheep lost and the wild birds were coming to the kitchen for food. It began on the third of January and it lasted for a fortnight.
