  2. Food in olden Times
    Long ago there were only two meals eaten in the day They consisted of porridge and sometimes potatoes. The porridge was made of Indian meal. The usual times that they ate were, in the morning and in the evening.
    The people long ago were far stronger, more industrious and healthier than they are nowadays.
