  1. In a field near our house there is an old brick kiln. Nothing remains of it now only small bit of a wall which was built of brick. It is beside a deep marshy bog. It is said that when the bricks were a making there were built in a little heap. The next day the bricks were stuck together. The bricks were left there and are there yet.
There is no other place around where bricks are got. No attempt was ever made afterwards to get any more brick as they new the brick were no good.
